$20,000 Reward Offered
The family of a 36-year-old man who went missing in Vancouver in late April has offered a $20,000 reward to anyone who can find him.
On Monday, relatives of Irshaad Ikbal said they had also created a private tip line for anyone who may have seen Ikbal just before his disappearance in the early hours of April 29 outside the Harbour Event Centre on Pacific Boulevard in Yaletown.
The Vancouver Police Department put out a plea for information two days after Ikbal went missing after becoming separated from a group of friends. On Saturday, around 200 family and friends gathered at the site he went missing and walked the area searching and distributing thousands of posters.
“So many of our community members, family, and friends gathered to help us search for Irsh. We are so grateful for each and every single person who came out to support us,” said Irshaad’s cousin, Fouziah Khairati. “We will not stop until he is found.”
Ikbal is South Asian, 5-foot-8 and 155 pounds, with a medium build. He has short black hair, hazel eyes, and a black beard.
The family tip line is 604-704-4643.
Anyone who may have seen Ikbal or has any information on his location is asked to contact Vancouver police at 604-717-3321.
